The Soil Health Interpretive Centre (SHIC) is a state-of-the-art soil health monitoring station located on the Elora Crops Research Centre. It boasts 18 weighing lysimeters - large soil cores - that gather over 1.8 million data points each day. SHIC is a site for research and education on soil health, and how soil management impacts ecosystem services that come from soil.
